Welcome to DHS


Important Announcements

  • Thanksgiving break will take place from November 21-23.
  • Finals will be given December 19-21 (see calendar below for exact schedule).
  • Semester break is from December 24-January 4. The teachers have a Professional Development day on January 7 so classes will begin on Tuesday, Januay 8 ~ an A day.
  • You are invited to attend the 2018 Douglas High School College and Career Expo on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the high school Commons. This event is open to the community and we invite everyone to come and learn about the various career and education opportunities available to you after high school. Click here for more information. We hope to see you there!
  • Graduation for the class of 2019 will be held on Thursday, June 6 at 5:30 p.m.

DMV Attendence

DMV Attendance forms: Please allow 24 hours for the form to be generated. In order to receive a DMV Attendance form, you must have attended at least 90% of the Current semester class days. DMV will no longer accept faxed copies so please plan on picking up the form from the main office between 7:00-3:30.


Accreditation and Recognition

  • Douglas High School is accredited through the AdvancED Accreditation Commision 2018. View the executive summary here.
  • Douglas High School has received a 5 Star Rating which recognizes the school as a superior school for academic perfomance and graduation rate. The full report can be found here. Congratulations!


Lost & Found

The school does not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or confiscated items, which may include money, electronic equipment, PE clothes, or school-issued supplies. There is a lost and found box located at the end of the counseling hallway that should be checked for lost items.


Please note: There will be a $25 fee assessed on any returned check.
