Upcoming Events and Important Information

 

  • CORRECTION to newsletter information: The new student orientation is for incoming Freshmen and students new to DHS. This will take place on August 11 at 10:30 a.m.
  • New Student Registration packets will be available in the main office after July 11, 2016. These are for students new to Douglas County Schools. The online packet can be found at the following links: Registration Packet: English or Spanish
  • We will be operating with minimal office staff Monday-Friday, 7:00-3:30 begining July 11. Classes will resume on August 15, 2016.
  • Registrar's Summer Hours
  • Infinite Campus, our new student information system, is being worked on and will be available as soon as possible. Should it not be available by the first day of school, students will report to the commons for their first period class assignment. They will then receive their complete schedule during their first period class. Check back often for updates. The newsletter (linked here) has more detailed information as well.
  • Graduation 2016 pictures can be found by following the link

  • Own a Piece of the Courtyard ~

    We are now offering personalized pavers for you to mark special occasions.  Graduation, birthdays, holidays, special dates in your DHS history.  Here is an opportunity for you, your family, or your business to be part of Douglas High School for years to come.  Get a piece of the Block!  Become a donor to our Block D paver project.
    Prices range from $50-$150, and your paver will be highly visible in the courtyard adjacent to the new STEM building and main entrance of the school (see pictures below).  For full details and to design and order your own DHS paver, visit the following link: DHS Paver Project
    Funds will help support the initial installation of the paver project and student needs and activities.
