UPCOMING DATES FOR PROSPECTIVE CHEERLEADERS!

- March 27, 28 & 29 (Tues-Thurs) during lunch, current 9th-11th graders come for a Cheer "Meet & Greet" in Room 605 (Portables)

- April 11th at 7pm in the Media Center Cheer Meeting for parents and prospective cheerleaders

- April 1st -April 25 at 3pm RegisterMyAthlete (RMA) - any student wanting to try out for Cheer must be completely registered on RMA, this includes uploading a current physical, a 2018-19 Medical History, paying the $25 ASB online, completing the online packet and view the Drug/Alcohol presentation if needed

- Monday, April 30th through Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 3:30-5pm in the DHS Small Gym - Tryout Clinic

- Friday May 4th Tryouts at 3pm in Small Gym

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Students wanting to play a sport must have 2 or more credits and a 2.0 GPA or better from the previous semester to be eligible to play any sport.
  2. Completed registration on line at (RMA) RegisterMyAthlete is required each school year in order to participate. Physicals are required every 2 years from the date of last physical if without injury.
  3. Student and at least one parent must view the Drug Alcohol Presentation once during the high school career in order to participate in DHS Sports. This presentation is now online via the Douglas High Web Site.

FALL 2018 sports eligibility will be determined by the athlete’s 2nd semester grades from the 2017-2018 school year ending June 2018.

Effective today, NIAA is requiring all Nevada Schools to register all athletes online at Register My Athlete.
To register an athlete for a Fall Sport, parents need to establish an account for the student at Registermyathlete.com. using this link below.
Please make sure you complete all pages and have the parent AND the student electronic signatures, the Tiger Cage will upload the current physical. Thank you.

Transportation Release Form is now online! Just click, type, print and sign. Parents need to complete this form online, one form for each game date/location, kept by the parent, to be given to the coach only on the day of that game.
