Steps to get established with the Scholarship Office:

  1. Complete the Douglas High School Common Application Packet. This packet includes:

  2. General Application (Application PDF) (Application Word)

  3. Autobiography (Advice for the Autobiography)

  4. Letters of Recommendation (at least 3)

  5. Unofficial Transcript (Counseling Office)

Steps fro the Common Application

  1. When using your Douglas High School Common Application Packet to apply for a scholarship, please use a cover sheet as your first page. This should have your name and the name of the scholarship you are applying for.

  2. Bring your completed Douglas High School Common Application Packet (CAP) to Pattie Dack in the counseling office.

  3. Monitor scholarships, deadlines and application instructions via e-mail or on-line.

Preparation for your senior year: (Advice for Juniors)

Fill out your FAFSA form. Online federal application for student aid at: Get your pin number at January 1st is the earliest you can submit your application. First come first serve on need based aid. Some state funded colleges/universities require the FAFSA be filled out for distribution of funds, (scholarships/aid), regardless of qualification for funds.
