    Upcoming Events and information
    • DHS will be welcoming Freshmen and New Students at our Orientation on Thursday, August 18 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.  This will be an opportunity for students to tour the campus and get information from our Leadership students.  Parents should drop their students off at 3:00 and plan on picking them up at 5:00.
    • The main office is available to assist you from 7:00-3:30 with minimal staffing.  
    • Student schedules for the 2022-2023 year will be available for viewing on August 10, 2022.

    • New Student Registration Information for the 2022-2023 school year can be found here. (Registro de Estudiantes Nuevos)  Use the DHS Registration link for specific information to Douglas High School.
    • The procedure for enrolling in Student Insurance has changed to an online process per this letter.  You may complete a paper application using the attached forms (English version, Spanish version).
    • The Required Annual Update and Review for existing families in the Douglas County School District is available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  This required annual process has moved from paper format to the electronic parent portal and provides the Douglas County School District with the most current, accurate contact and health information in case of an emergency for your child. Updating this information will ensure that we are able to reach you in the most efficient and timely manner if needed. Parents who have forgotten their Parent Portal password and/or login are to contact their child's school for assistance.

    Regular and Early Dismissal

    DMV Attendance Requirements

    DMV Attendance forms: Please allow 24 hours for the form to be generated. In order to receive a DMV Attendance form, you must have attended at least 90% of the Current semester class days. DMV will not accept faxed copies so please plan on picking up the form from the main office between 7:00-3:30.

    Lost and Found

    The school does not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or confiscated items, which may include money, electronic equipment, PE clothes, or school-issued supplies. There is a lost and found box located at the end of the counseling hallway that should be checked for lost items.


    -We are not able to release students for pick up without a written request or a parent/guardian coming in to sign the student out.  You can email a request to  You must allow two hours to process these requests.

    -There will be a $25 fee assessed on any returned check.
