    Upcoming Events and information
    • We would like to invite all freshmen and students new to DHS to come to our annual orientation.  This will be held on Thursday, August 5 from 3:00-5:00.  Parents should drop their students off and come back at 5:00 to pick them up.
    • Welcome Back!  Classes will resume on Monday, August 9 and will follow this schedule.  Tuesday, August 10 will be an A day and we will begin our A-day/B-day rotation schedule.
    • Bus routes for 2021-2022 are here and posted in the lobby of the high school.
    • The start of year packet that will be sent home with your students during the first week of school can also be accessed through the above link.
    • Information on the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine clinic for students 12 years and older can be found here.
    • We are glad to have all of our students back!  However, we are still not allowed to have visitors on campus.  Meetings will continue to be held virtually.

    Regular and Early Dismissal

    DMV Attendance Requirements

    DMV Attendance forms: Please allow 24 hours for the form to be generated. In order to receive a DMV Attendance form, you must have attended at least 90% of the Current semester class days. DMV will not accept faxed copies so please plan on picking up the form from the main office between 7:00-3:30.

    Lost and Found

    The school does not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or confiscated items, which may include money, electronic equipment, PE clothes, or school-issued supplies. There is a lost and found box located at the end of the counseling hallway that should be checked for lost items.

    Notices

    -We are not able to release students for pick up without a written request or a parent/guardian coming in to sign the student out.  You can email a request to dhsattendance@dcsd.k12.nv.us

    -There will be a $25 fee assessed on any returned check.

    -Should you find anything that needs to be corrected or updated, please contact Karan Seelbinder at kseelbin@dcsd.k12.nv.us
