A student or staff member who had signs of suspected or laboratory confirmed COVID-19 can return/work if after five (5) days the individual is fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of medication) and their symptoms are improving or have resolved.
- Upon returning from isolation, suspected or laboratory confirmed COVID-19 students or staff must wear a well fitted mask through day 10.
- If an individual has severe illness or has a weakened immune system, it is recommended to consult their doctor before ending isolation.
- Instead of quarantining close contacts exposed to COVID-19, it is recommended they wear a high-quality mask for 10-days and get tested on day.

Douglas High School will be administering the state required Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31 of this week in your student’s English class. The survey can be found at YRBS. If you do not want your student to participate in this survey, complete the opt out form and have your student turn it in to his/her English teacher the day of the survey.
