HOSA Public Service Announcement Videos

DHS is proud to announce that three of our talented teams are competing in (HOSA) Public Service Announcement competition at the upcoming State Leadership Conference.

Our teams have worked tirelessly to produce Public Service Announcements that not only highlight the dangers of Fentanyl but demonstrate their understanding and commitment to public health advocacy. Here are the YouTube links to their inspiring work:

  1. Team A's PSA: Watch Now
  2. Team B's PSA: Watch Now
  3. Team C's PSA: Watch Now

We are calling on our entire school district and community to show their support by watching these PSAs, sharing them on social media, and spreading the word.

CTE Good News Flash!

DHS's Computer Science and Digital Game Development Programs have been granted a CTE Competitive Grant, leading to significant upgrades.

New computer tables, ergonomic task chairs, and three supercomputing rendering stations have been added to bolster students' learning journey and special project capabilities, amplifying their educational experience.

Furthermore, the State Competitive CTE grant has provided DHS with essential resources, including new welders and a pan and shear brake for the Welding program, as well as modern stovetops, ovens, and grills to enhance the Culinary Arts program.

Douglas High School continues to shine, empowering students and enriching their CTE experiences through innovation and excellence.
