Student Registration

Incoming 9th Grade Registration

If your student is coming from Alpine County, Faith Christian Academy, or Grace Christian Academy, counselors from Douglas High School will be visiting your child’s school sometime in March.  At that time, they will go over our registration process and provide your student(s) with all of the required paperwork.

If not coming from one of the above-mentioned middle schools, please complete a Registration Packet (link below).  You will then need to drop off the completed Registration Packet (including copy of Birth Certificate, Proof of Residency and Immunization Record) to the Counseling Office.  *Incomplete packets will not be accepted

When dropping off your completed Registration Packet you will also need to let us know which classes your student would like to register for.  Your student will select 5 core classes and 2 electives (see below):

  1. English - English 1 or English 1 Honors
  2. Math - Algebra 1, Geometry, Geometry Honors
  3. Science – Biology
  4. Computer Science / Health – Computer Science & Applications (semester)/Health (semester) or Computer Science Principles, AP (yearlong - Health would then be taken at a later time) – graduation requirements
  5. Freshman Seminar – required course for all Freshmen (elective)
  6. Elective 1/PE – PE 1, Strength & Conditioning 1 or JROTC 1
  7. Elective 2

Please also choose two 2 alternates.  See the Course Listing link for a complete list of available courses, or the Course Catalog for more detailed course information.  Course selections will then go into Infinite Campus to generate the Master Schedule.
